1) Active Voice :-
A voice in which subject of the sentence is in active form is called Active Voice.
Exa . I drink coffee .
2) Passive Voice :-
A voice in which subject of the sentence is not active (i.e. Inactive form) is called Passive Voice .
Exa . Coffee is drunk by me.
Rules to convert Active Voice into Passive Voice :-
1) Object of Active Voice become the Subject in Passive Voice.
2) Use proper form of 'to be'.
3) Take past participle (V3) of given Verb.
4) Take suffix 'by' after using past participle (V3) of the Verb .
5) Subject of an Active Voice become the Object in Passive Voice .
[ Note:- Subject of the sentence must be in Nominative Form and Object in Accusative / Objective Form. ]

We can easily convert the Voice by using Formulae given below :-
As we know that there are twelve sub-tenses out of which Passive Voice is possible only in Eight Tenses :-
1) Simple Present Tense :-
Formula :- A. V. = S + V1 + O + C .
P. V. = O + is/ am/ are + V3 + by +S +C.
Exa. A. V. - She sings a song on the stage.
P. V. - A song is sung by her on the stage .
2) Simple Past Tense :-
Formula :- A. V. - S + V2 + O.
P. V. - O + was / were+ V3+ by+ S.
Exa. A. V. - She sang a song.
P. V. - A song was sung by her .
3) Simple Future Tense:-
Formula :- A. V. - S + shall / will + V1 + O .
P. V. - O + shall / will + be + V3 + S. .
Exa. A. V. - She will sing a song .
P. V. - A song will be sung by her.
4) Present Continuous Tense:-
Formula :- A. V. - S +am/ is /are +V4+ O .
Formula :- P. V. - O +am /is/ are +being+ V3 + by +S.
Exa. A. V. - She is singing a song.
P. V. - A song is being sung by her.
5) Past Continuous Tense :-
Formula :- A. V. - S +was / were + V4 + O .
P. V. - O +was /were + being + V3 + S .
Exa. A. V. - She was singing a song.
P. V. - A song was being sung by her.
6) Present Perfect Tense :-
Formula :- A. V. - S + have/ has +V3 +O.
P. V. - O +have/ has +been + V3+ by +S.
Exa. A. V. - She has sung a song .
P. V. - A song has been sung by her.
7) Past Perfect Tense :-
Formula :- A. V. - S + had +V3 + O.
P. V. - O + had been +V3 + by + S.
Exa . A. V. - She had sung a song.
P. V. - A song had been sung by her.
8) Future Perfect Tense :-
Formula:- A.V.- S+shall /will+have+V3+O.
P. V.- O+ shall /will +have been+V3+by+ S.
Exa. A. V.- She will have sung a song.
P. V. - A song will have been sung by her.
[ Important:- Object of an Active Voice becomes the Subject in Passive Voice So,
Formula of Passive Voice started from Object (O) is just for understanding.]
Note :- Passive Voice is not possible in:-
1) Future Continuous Tense.
2) Present Perfect Continuous Tense.
3) Past Perfect Continuous Tense.
4) Future Perfect Continuous Tense.
** Passive Voice of Imperative Sentence:-
A sentense start from main verb (V1) is called Imperarive Sentense.
Exam. Bring the ball.
Formula (P.V.):- Let+O+ be + Ppt(V3)+C.
Exam. 1) Bring the ball.(+ve)
Ans. Let the ball be brought.
2) Don't make noise.(-ve)
Ans. Let the noise not to be made.
